Controlling Substances
As an employer it is your duty to ensure that you know what hazardous substances are present, what their dangers are and put in measures to control them, ensuring that safer alternatives are used if available.
COSHH means Control Of Substances Hazardous to Health.
It is also your duty to ensure that your employees are trained in their dangers and are trained in the use of the controls in place, from wearing the appropriate personal protective clothes to the storage of the substance.
We can undertake all required COSHH Assessments or we can train key personnel within your organisation, supplying template forms and guiding them through the process. We can also check the assessments upon completion, to give you that added peace of mind.
