Building Trust in Safety Ltd began in 1999 by Gordon and Ruth Ross. Our valuable services are now used nationwide and we have become one of the most respected health and safety consultancies in the UK.

Initially set up to provide help for small businesses, in response to the Claim Culture which had begun to plague them, BTS now provides an extensive range of services. We enable businesses to flourish, encouraging a Culture where each and every staff member takes responsibility for Health and Safety issues.

BTS is dedicated to training in a way that is understandable. Confusing jargon and over-complicated methods have no place in our company. Instead, we are all of the rare breed of people that can understand the enormous quantity of practical and legal issues surrounding Health & Safety, and can convey its meaning in a way that you can understand.

Our head office is in Shropshire, but our expert staff are based out in the field, providing cover across the UK.

Founder and Business Leader, both Ruth's degree in Business & Finance and her years of experience managing a busy Centre gave an ideal background to her role at BTS. Besides overseeing the Business Development and generally running things, she meticulously designs the systems and processes that can turn your business around.

Director

Founder and chief expert on all aspects of Health & Safety, Gordon has 35 years experience in the Health and Safety industry, both in practical, hands-on roles and in managerial positions.  He has represented many clients succesfully in Employment Law Tribunal Hearings, and his innovative training methods make learning simple for all.

Georgi possesses extensive Health & Safety qualifications, team and project leading skills, together with solid experience in a number of business fields.

Our team of Consultants all come from a varied background, ensuring that we can offer our Clients a wealth of experience and knowledge. They all hold relevant qualifications and membership of their relevant accrediting bodies, all of which are members of IOSH.

The back bone of the company, our team happily ploughs through the paperwork for you, creating it all, from fire plans to policy manuals etc.
